Taras Loboda nació en Ucrania, 1961, Se graduó en el Instituto de Arte de Kiev en 1985.
Desde 1963, vive y trabaja en Praga. Sus obras son demandadas por numerosos coleccionistas y amantes del arte en EE.UU, Europa, Asia y Medio Oriente. Sus retratos femeninos y naturalezas muertas pintadas al óleo sobre lienzo con una combinación de cepillos y espátula, hacen que las obras de Taras transmitan fondo y sentimiento.
