Ali Cavanaugh nació en St, Louis 1973 estudió en la Universidad de Kendall de Arte y diseño. Sus pinturas están realizadas al fresco (acuarelas sobre yeso) rebautizando esta forma de trabajo como "neo fresco secco".
Sus cuadros son foto-realistas con pinceladas que crean una textura ligera. Investigando en su biografía descubrí que la pérdida de la audición la hizo adaptarse y recrear el mundo a su alrededor.
Luz, color, composición fuerte e intuitiva y lenguaje corporal acompañan a estas hermosas imágenes.
Su trabajo ha recibido un amplio reconocimiento y se encuentra en más de 400 colecciones privadas y corporativas en todo los EE.UU., Canadá, Inglaterra, Alemania, Portugal, Suiza, Singapur y Australia. Ella ahora vive en el área de St. Louis con su esposo y cuatro hijos.
