Andrea Bucci nació en 1966 en Viareggio, Toscana, en la costa italiana, donde vive y trabaja. Dejó de lado su carrera de arquitectura para dedicarse al arte. Sus figuras de cerámica y bronce están dotadas de una gran sencillez poética, sus personajes parecen salidos de un libro de poesía.
Trabaja la arcilla y el bronce en tamaños pequeños y monumentales. Participa en la vida artística italiana, con numerosas exposiciones colectivas y personales, además de mantener y exponer en su galería personal en Lucca, Toscana, Italia.
Sus esculturas se encuentran en colecciones públicas y privadas en: Austria, Australia, Bélgica, Brasil, Canadá, Dinamarca, Francia, Alemania, Irlanda, Israel, Corea, Líbano, Países Bajos, Nueva Zelanda, Noruega, Portugal, Rusia, Arabia Saudita, España, Suiza, EE.UU., Reino Unido.
