Elaine Murphy nativa de Dublín, Irlanda. Desde sus primeros años demostró su pasión por el dibujo y el diseño creativo. Estudió en la Escuela Nacional de Arte en Dublín. Más tarde se convirtió en un ilustrador para el diseñador de moda Zandra Rhodes. Elaine amplió sus actividades creativas desde la moda hasta el diseño de joyas. fundó su propia fábrica dedicada a sus diseños de cerámica y accesorios para el hogar. Ha diseñado colecciones para Waterford Crystal, Wedgewood joyería celta y Riverdance. Es una amante de los animales y seguidora de las organizaciones benéficas de protección animal. Sus trabajos combinan la abstracción con líneas minimalistas sugerentes que expresan sensualidad, fluidez y elegancia. Sus pinturas se encuentran en numerosas colecciones privadas. Actualmente vive y trabaja en Florida.
