Las mujeres de Hitchcock!!! y las sugerentes pinturas de Kelly Reemtsen

Sir Alfred Hitchcock nació el 13 de agosto de 1899 en Leytonstone, Londres y murió en 1980. Fue un director de cine y productor británico. Pionero en muchas de las técnicas que caracterizan a los géneros cinematográficos del suspense y el thriller psicológico. Tras una exitosa carrera en el cine británico que lo llevó a ser considerado el mejor director de Inglaterra, Hitchcock se trasladó a Hollywood en 1939. Dirigió más de cincuenta películas. Conciderado como uno de los artistas más importante del séptimo arte.
Sus dos grandes obsesiones: las rubias y el suspense. Todas ellas debían ser elegantes, clásicas, inteligentes, un tanto frías y lucir una melena platino. Tippi Hedren, Ingrid bergman y Grace Kelly cumplían esos requisitos. Lo que fue cordialidad con Bergman, se tornó en devoción con Kelly y en acoso con Hedren, cada una conoció una faceta distinta de la devoción de Hitchcock.
Joan Fontaine, Tallulah Bankhead, Marlene Dietrich y Julie Andrews, entre otras, imprimieron matices distintos a muchas de sus películas, dando vida a mujeres con una belleza menos obvia pero también interesante. Este es un recorrido de la carrera del cineasta a través de las mujeres- rubias o no- que amo, ésas que resolvían misterios y sufrían sin perder elegancia.
Kelly Reemtsen artista de Los Angeles cuyas pinturas tienen como imagen icónica a una mujer vestida con bellos vestidos y que llevan una herramienta asociada con su masculinidad. Las mujeres traen a la mente iconos clásicos de la televisión de los 50 y 60. Las herramientas también pueden ser vistas como símbolos del poder femenino y las mujeres como auténticas heroínas.
