Alfredo Palmero nacido en Barcelona en 1966 proviene de una estirpe artística que comenzó con su abuelo el Maestro Palmero. Alfredo es famoso por sus realistas y parcialmente surrealista pinturas de mujeres-arlequines en particular. Sus influencias artísticas incluyen a Picasso, Velázquez y Paul Klee.
Sus particulares Meninas son una reinterpretación personal de las de Velázquez, una exaltación de la mujer y la naturaleza como madre-tierra que da paso así al origen de la vida. El clasicismo y la contemporaneidad forman una obra bipolar que el autor maneja naturalmente donde sobresale su personal visión de la pintura.
