Valerie Maugeri nació en Francia en 1967, es una artista autodidacta, en lugar de asistir a la escuela ella creció y aprendió a través de la observación y la práctica. Hace uso del collage, colores cálidos y fuertes detalles. Su narrativa es muy femenina llena de colores y con gran variedad de formatos. Sus composiciones están llenas de detalles y brillante colorido a veces reforzado por la presencia de pan de oro.
