Rober Doisneau (1912-1994) es uno de los mejores fotógrafos franceses del SXX. Se formó como grabador litográfico y tipógrafo y en 1929 comenzó a realizar sus primeras fotografías de forma autodidacta. Sus primeros trabajos son retratos sobre la ocupación y liberación de París. Al finalizar la guerra reflejó en sus fotos la alegría de la ciudad de París tras la desgracia, posteriormente su trabajo se centra en fotografiar la vida pública situando a sus personajes en un ámbito cotidiano.
En 1950 la revista American's Life, le encarga un trabajo interesada en los enamorados de París... de allí surge la serie Besos y su fotografía más famosa: "El beso".
Muchos pensaron que era una fotografía espontánea que el autor tomó de las calles de París pero la pareja fue descubierta en un café por el artista y aceptaron darse un beso apasionado en mitad del tumulto de la ciudad.
En 1951 se expone en el Museo de Arte Moderno de NY. El Beso simbolizó el amor, París como ciudad romántica, la exaltación del sentimiento y también aportó jugosas ganancias, aún hoy el famoso beso vende cientos de miles de copias anuales.

The first photo by Robert Doisneau is one of my favourite pics ever! I waited so long for Saint Laurent collection - as you know Yves is my favourite designer and my expectetions are really high! Collection by Heidi Slimane is great, consistent, very 70s and bohema vibrant touch. Love the way how Heidi create new model of smoking ( his best skinny model of smoking )- skinny smoking but in YSL way. I like it but like for me I miss a lot of things which defined Yves Saint Laurent specyfic style.
