Derek Gores (1971) artista norteamericano que vive y trabaja en Melbourne, Florida, famoso por sus collages. Estudió en la Escuela de Diseño de Rhode Island, Providense, se graduó en 1983. Gores realiza retratos a gran escala reciclando revistas, periódicos, etiquetas y todo tipo de materiales en papel, para crear sus obras sobre lienzo. En sus trabajos y obras aplica técnicas y estilos tales como el abstracto, la técnica mixta y el dibujo. Su trabajo es ampliamente reconocido, entre sus clientes se encuentran Lenny Kravitz, Lucasfilm, Kings of Leon, U2, NASCAR, Adidas, Madonna, Harley Davidson, Van Halen, etc.
