Gene Brown, nativo de Oregon, se licenció en Publicidad y Arte en la Universidad de California de Artes y Oficios en 1960. Desarrolló un gran interés por la pintura a mediados de los años setenta y se convirtió en miembro de la Sociedad de la Acuarela del Suroeste y la Associated Creative Artists. Sus paisajes acrílicos y sus pinturas han sido reproducidas en tarjetas de felicitación y grabados. Su obra se encuentra en colecciones privadas en Estados Unidos y en las colecciones de la Corporación McDonald, Southern Pacific Railroad, Investigación y Dallas Trading Company y Instruments Texas en Japón.
El color, el optimismo y la ilusión siempre van acompañados en las colecciones de Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada. Nunca pueden faltar los corazones y el binomio rosa-naranja. Algunos abrigos y faldas cortas de neopreno, vestidos cortos con cuello bebé y bolsos de plástico transparentes son algunos de los detalles de esta alegre colección.
